It is one of the world’s tallest steel bridges, standing at 134 metres above the sea. The Sydney Harbour Bridge was constructed in the early twentieth century. The project was originally intended to connect Balls Head, Millers Point, and Balmain. The bridge was also supposed to connect the north and south shores of the harbour.
