Plan To Maximize Use
As someone who has been away from Bangkok for three years due to COVID-19, I’m especially excited to explore the city’s public transportation system again. I’m looking forward to taking the BTS Skytrain to some of my favorite neighborhoods, like Thonglor and Ekkamai, to see how they’ve changed over the years. I’m also excited to take the MRT Subway to explore areas like Chinatown and the Chatuchak Weekend Market.
One of the benefits of using public transportation in Bangkok is that it’s a great way to see the city from a different perspective. Riding the buses or ferries offers a unique opportunity to see the city’s streets and neighborhoods up close, while the BTS and MRT offer a bird’s eye view of the city’s skyline.
Another reason why I’m excited to be back in Bangkok and use public transportation is because of the food. Bangkok is known for its incredible street food, and many of the city’s best street food vendors are located near public transportation stations. It’s easy to hop off the BTS or MRT and grab a quick bite to eat before continuing on to your next destination.

Of course, one of the most exciting things about being back in Bangkok is seeing what’s changed. The city is constantly evolving, with new restaurants, bars, and neighborhoods popping up all the time.
